Localisation: Geneina, WFP Ware houses.
Date: 27 November, 06.00 am, Convoy departed at 7.30,
WFP food convoy heading towards the north of West Darfur, with Final destination Kulbus.
Due to the current instable security situation and access issues, the AU is providing escort to WFP food convoy.
The convoy was composed of 52 trucks and a to months ration food was distributed the different location in the northern sector of West Dafur.
The two month distribution was implemented due to traffic restrictions and as an preventive action to avoiding further food distributions delays, in these areas, close to the Chadian border and affected by the recent conflict, between Chadians rebels group and the Chadian goverment's army.
