UNJLC Light Vehicle Convoy from Khartoum to Darfur

114UNJLC is organizing a light vehicle convoy to the three Darfur state capitals.
Please note the following details.
- Any convoy will be subject to security clearance.
- Participation will be at your own risk.
- It is most likely that armed escorts will be involved.
- Dates currently being considered are in May.
Please note the deadline for submissions of vehicles to join the convoy is 25th April 2008.
Any requests to join the convoy after this date will not be honored.
There is a minimum requirement of vehicles to justify the use of the armed convoy, if this minimum is not met the convoy will have to be postponed.
There is also a maximum limit to the number of 20 vehicles that can be accommodated in one convoy. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis
