UNHAS Easter & Sham Alnaseem Announcement.

Document Actions

For all UNHAS service users:

Just a quick note to advise you all that  UN  will observe the 27th and the 28th of April  2008  as official holidays on the occasion of Easter and Sham Alnaseem feasts respectively. For that there will  be no  scheduled UNHAS flights.
It is the responsibility of the NGOS /Agencies focal points to review the bookings received before for these two days and change according to UNHAS flights schedule.
Bookings for the 29th and the 30th of April should be submitted to UNHAS  on Saturday the 26th of April before 10:00 am.
We will  however remain on operational standby for Emergencies.

Further to our  above Memo on no-fly days (on 27 & 28 April) , Please allow us to stress on some  UNHAS standard procedures:
1. UNHAS is strictly a passengers oriented service. It is only upon availability of space  that  extra luggage is carried on board our aircrafts provided that it is declared in advance on UNHAS cargo form which you will find attached below.
2. All NGOS/Agencies passengers should present their respective NGOS /Agencies ID cards upon request at UNHAS checking counters. Failure to do so will result in removal from flights manifests.
3. Passengers should report at  the airport (Alhag Terminal ) two hours before flights take off. Checking counters close 40 minutes prior to  flights departure to avoid any unexpected delays.

On behalf of UNHAS Air Operations we apologize for any inconveniences and wish you all   Happy holidays.
