Executive Summary
- A Common Appeal for the Common Pipeline was launched. The funds requested will enable the purchasing of life-saving
NFI stocks not available through other channels, prior to the on-set of the rainy season. Copies of the Common Appeal are
available by emailing sudan@unjlc.org. - In March, 33,977 households were served with non-food items from the Common Pipeline in Darfur, bringing the 2008 first
quarter total to 81,972 households. To these households, approximately 160,000 NFI items were distributed in March,
making the total number of items distributed over 590,000 year-to-date.
