HIGHLIGHTS
The Common Pipeline for NFIs continues to support internally displaced persons across Darfur, primarily focusing on new displacements and populations never served during the rainy season. Replenishments have already been carried out for those populations in need and teams are already beginning to focus on the new round of seasonal requirements in anticipation of winter.

Insecurity in the region remains the biggest challenge for UNJLC and partners, often preventing assessments of population movements and needs. Due to tribal fighting, a recent upward trend in car-jacking and general insecurity in the region, some key partner organizations have been forced to pull out of remote areas making it increasingly difficult to reach needy populations.

Regardless of these challenges, UNJLC continues to provide support to partner NGOs working to distribute NFIs to the most vulnerable populations in Darfur. Field Logistics Officers participate in joint needs asse
