HIGHLIGHTS
- Distributions were at a lower level than February due to problems with distributing partner capacity and insecurity restricting access for both distributions and assessments.
- In North Darfur, a Common Pipeline-supported ICRC distribution was curtailed after a serious security incident involving a vehicle hi-jacking.
- An additional USD$500,000 CHF funding was allocated to the sector.
- Consultative meetings are being held this month between all Common Pipeline partners and NGOs in the three Darfur state capitals to strengthen cooperation and to better respond to the needs of the target populations.
