Assessment of Hijacking Incidents.
- On the available data, 39 incidences of 'truckjacking' occurred in Darfur between 01 Nov 2007 and 31 Jan 2008.
- The survey focused solely on 'truckjacking' where the vehicle was actually taken.
- 14 routes were identified where 'truckjacking' incidents had occurred.
- 51% of the incidents taking place on the Ed Daein – Zalinge route, (approximately 450 kms).
