The Road from Nyala to Nertete is a paved road, not in so bad condition.
The road after Nertete continue for 4 Kms paved then at the junction, the road became dirt road until Rokiro passing through Gorne, Guldo, Gulo and finally Rokiro . Between Gulo and Rokiro , there is an Army Check Point. Also before the Check point, there is a junction which take you to T. Hore and T Bovic which are SLA area.
This area is south of Jebel Marah.

The driving time specially on dirt road could change during the rainy season.
There is a Guest House at Nertete and at Rokiro a Military Guest House. This is the same road to Kass, Thur , Nertete where it turns to inland after 4 kms. If you continue on the paved road , it reach Khur Ramla and then Zalingue where the paved road finished
