Incoming Items: UNICEF is making note of arrivals of new stocks for the common pipeline to Darfur. Blankets and plastic sheeting are expected to arrive in El Obeid.
There are currently no plans to purchase sanitary items in 2007. Soap and mosquito nets will remain under control of UNICEF-Darfur.
NFI Monitoring and Evaluation: The CARE monitoring and evaluation report (October) will be available on the UNJLC website shortly.
CARE and OCHA are also coordinating a NFI-assessment report target for release mid December. Therefore CARE asks UNJLC to facilitate NGO's involved in the distribution at state level for training of their staff. This training will take only one day. The report will focus on achievements in the past period, but will also focus on the contents for the NFI basket and the planning for 2007.
Warehousing: CARE is currently evaluating their warehouse needs.
The common NFI pipeline is currently experiencing a great shortage of women's clothing (toaps).
Rest of Sudan (ROS)
For the GOS/ GOSS/ UN- organised returnees there will be NFI kits available.
