Highlights

Flooding reached unprecedented levels in areas across North Sudan, leaving many communities displaced and homeless. Damage to infrastructure and roads reported.
A section of the road from El Geneina town to the airport has collapsed following heavy rains. The situation is expected to worsen should further rains occur (see West Darfur).
