UNICEF:
Leading 4 clusters Nutrition, WASH, Protection and Education
WASH: principal issue of logistics
Water trucking, Warehousing Karachi & Islamabad,
Transport using the local market
Water trucking & rehabilitation for 115,000 beneficiaries

For water trucking, needs are decreasing: rehabilitation of wells and sources going on.

ARC:
Area of intervention: Kharan
Shelter kits for 2,000 families, total of beneficiaries is 75% complete
Need assistance for transport (using already Logistics cluster)
Need assistance for storage: Rube hall ?? in Jacobabad
IOM:
Logistics Response team operating around Quetta, two others in Sindh Province
Leading agency for CCCM cluster

Logistics cluster for road rehabilitation??
ADPB/UNDP:
Provided information for sharing of operational and Human resources available in Balochistan (HoQ and nine districts) and contributed at the planning of emergency flood relief assistance through UNDP Islamabad.
Provided 4 vehicles with drivers and associated 1 senior engineer in Kalat and Khuzdar, 1 M&E Assistant and Male Social Mobilizer in Dalbandin at the beginning of flood response assessment.
Not involved directly in the flood response but extending support as and when needed.
OXFAM GB:
Area of intervention: Balochistan, Sindh (initially focused in Turbat)
Shelters and other NFI assistance (jerrycans…) for 3 500 families
Sindh already finished
Turbat: Latrines, water distribution and rehabilitation water systems with PHP
Three water trucks are currently use (Approximately 1000 USD/month), delivering 80,000 lts/day
OXFAM has a warehouse in Turbat
Needs: water trucking Turbat,
BRSP
Presently working in District Bolan, Kalat & Khuzdar, and planning & assessing to move to District Jafferabad, Naseerabad, Noshki & Jhal Magsi
Partnership with UNICEF, UNHCR, & DFID, and a project is in pipeline with WHO.

Health (Organizing 60 Health Camps in Dist Bolan, Khuzdar)
WATSAN (Provision of clean drinking water through water trucking)

ISLAMIC RELIEF:
Area of intervention: Kharan, Chagai and Jafferabad in Balochistan
Distribution of Food, Non food Items, Tents, Kitchen Sets and Hygiene kits

Water Trucking:
- UNICEF made a local market price for transport and water trucks to share with the other logistics officer
- All the Agencies and NGOs can send their request for water trucking (location, capacity, duration) to the logistics cluster according to the “User manual guide” ( pfic website)
- All the agencies and NGOs which are using already water trucking can send the detailsprice, contacts…) to the logistics cluster
- Logistics cluster: share and compile information, need assessment and provide services for water trucking
Road rehabilitation:
- ACTED and others agencies can send road assessment to the logistics cluster ( location, evaluation of the work…)
- Logistics cluster: evaluation of the work/price
Storage:
- Logistics cluster: send temporally storage from Jacobabad to Larkhana ARC
- All the NGOs and agencies can send the needs of storage(location, duration, quantity) to the logistics cluster
- All the NGOs and agencies which have already storages in the field to be share with the other agencies can send the information to the logistics cluster (location, capacity…)
- Possibility of storage in Quetta in WFP warehouse
Transport:
- Assistance underway, since July 25 : 50 MT for MCI, 715 MT for ARC, 30 MT for CRS, 14 MT for FAO
- All the agencies and NGOs can send the needs to the logistics cluster
- All the agencies and NGOs can send the market price and contact to the logistics cluster
Logistics coordination
- A logistics cluster liaison officer will be based in Quetta. This person will be the point of reference for the agencies and NGOs working in Quetta
Distributions/stocks weekly report
- Distributions and stocks reports have to be more precise in order to get a better analyse of the ratio distribution/beneficiaries
- Please try your best to send the distribution report in time and add for each items the “unit of programme” ex: hygiene Kit: Unit of programme could be: 1 kit for 1 family for 15 days
