Inter-Agency Standing Committee Provides UNJLC with its mandate and activation.

UNJLC is deploying an UNJLC assessment staff with the Logistics Resonse Team (LRT)

Current Challenges:

Visas for staff are the main challenge. Strictly through MOFA Yangon
Govt of Myanmar has not officially endorsed International Assistance . Govt is willing to accept international assistance - preferably bi lateral - Govt to Govt.
In-country communications is problematic
