On 18th December Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is reporting that the flooding completely destroyed 16 bridges and 31 connector roads of Mombasa, Kilifi, Lwale and Garsen.
Six sections of the major roads that link Kenya to Tanzania were also washed away or rendered impassable.
