UNJLC mandate aims to enhance the performance of UN Agencies and other organizations participating in a complex and sudden onset emergency response. This aim is achieved trough the provision of Information products, tools and services on logistics issues, Commodity Tracking and Prioritization services. This implies acting as an information platform for the gathering, collating, analysis and dissemination of logistics information required by humanitarian actors, as well as complement field Logistics Clusters, in the area of Information Management.


The 2007 Work plan aimed to enhance UNJLC’s capacity in the following keys areas:
