  • IOM is accepting any other NGOs / agencies wishing to join their convoys from Jakarta to Medan, Medan to Banda Aceh, Medan to Meulaboh.  However, the convoy passage does not include end-point warehousing (IOM's warehousing is limited) and hence agencies must make arrangements for all consignments upon arrival.

    • JAKARTA - BANDA ACEH
    • MEDAN - BANDA ACEH
    • MEDAN - MEULABOH
    • MEDAN - LHOKSEUMAWE-BIREUN
    • MEDAN - NIAS
  • 110 trucks are operating in and around BANDA ACEH

Other delivery routes include: Medan-Biruen, Medan-Nias and Medan-Lhokseumwe.

It has been requested that donors, agencies and NGOs ensure that air assets are used of essential items and routine items are sent through, for example, the IOM land convoys and sea routes.
