The next meeting will take place Friday 15 September @ 09.00HRS at the UNMACC annex in new meeting tent opposite containers. It has been decided that the logistic cluster will meet 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9h00am.

All humanitarian actors requiring cargo movement should use the attached Cargo Movement Request form and send to UNJLC at lebanon.cargo@unjlc.org
All humanitarian actors are invited to share information on their relief cargo pipeline.
Any feedback/follow up on cargo movements and any other issues related to humanitarian relief cargo and distribution

NGO Updates and Issues

Submitted a NFI request to UNHCR. They are still waiting for official agreement as well as the NFI to de delivered to Tyre or directly to the villages
They had sent a truck back to Beirut due to a lack of information of the CMR/Waybill. We have to put an effort on the information (name of the consignee, telephone number minimum require)

IOM:

Received their cargo on the 12th of Sept.
Cargo has been loaded today and distribution will take place on the 14th of Sept for the following village: Alma Ech Chaab, Naqoura, Shaateye, Zibquine and Jbal Botom
They will send a CMR to collect some drinkable water from north of Lebanon to distribute directly to villages. Note: will be the first time to collect goods directly from a supplier. Need to discuss and finalize the issue.
They are also very interested in the drinkable water store in the WFP wick-hall => message has been passed to Julien Harnies (jharneis@unicef.org 70 908 369).

CARE int:

still waiting for funding for ECHO
they will assist around 2,500 families (lactating and pregnant woman)
Seems to be interested into baby hygiene kit and hygiene kit (they will certainly get in touch with UNICEF) as well as the food. They collected stock from WFP, UNICEF and UNHCR this morning.
seems to be interested in the logistic cluster support (transport and warehousing) upon budget approval
work with 2 national NGO: LABBA (Saida) and NABBA (Beirut)

Q: do the trucks can go straight to villages from Beirut:
A: yes as long as all information and CMR are properly filled and send to Lebanon.cargo@unjlc.org

Still facing some shortage of trucks to transport all their NFI stock down to Tyre. We suggested them to use the logistic cluster fleet as UNICEF and others agency and NGO are doing.

Need to strengthen information on CMR
AV booking: Request must be send by mail at least 48 hours in advance. Please provide the following information (date departure, destination including all villages, ETD, ETR, place of departure, passenger name) we will send back to you all information needed for you security clearance.
Logistic cluster still have more than 60 trucks available to transport cargo from Beirut to any villages. Just send a CMR with all needed information.
Could we have on the waybill the reference of the CMR?
