- WFP received concurrences and moved convoys today for Aarida (cargo and staff), Damour (water repairs), Saida (cargo), Tripoli (wheat), Jbail (fuel).
UNJLC
- UNJLC reminded all agencies that it is crucial to include all information in the cargo request forms as soon as possible in order to have a good idea of what is in the pipeline and prioritise accordingly. UNJLC also advised agencies that they can subscribe to the bulletin on their website (www.unjlc.org) in order to view all planned convoys.
- Mr. Arnt Breivk, Chief of UNJLC at WFP HQ, Rome, who is in Beirut until tomorrow, briefed agencies about UNJLC and about the importance of sharing information, which can also be done through the website. This will also help in the production of maps.
