Presentation of new ATLAS LOGISTICS activities to be launched in Katanga

The NGO ATLAS LOGISTIQUE is about to launch a logistics support project for the humanitarian community in the Katanga region of DRC.
Set up of a Logistics platform by the NGO ATLAS LOGISTIQUE in Katanga (Funding under discussion with ECHO)
Activities:
- Warehousing
- Transport(820 tons/month from Lubumbashi)
- Workshop activities in Lubumbashi and two other localities of the region, providing vehicle repairs for Atlas and partners agencies fleet
- Road rehabilitation on the major roads of the area.
Means
- Management of an ATLAS LOGISTIQUE owned fleet of trucks as well as trucks from the private sector in partnership with partners (SNCC, River transport companies).
- The transport will be done on two major roads, respectively via
Bukama and Kilwa. There will be warehouses on these two areas. From
there, the cargo will be dispatched to the various intervention areas
of Atlas Logistique partners with whaleboats or trucks.
