Trebil customs specific information
Tolls at Trebil - Effective July 5th


Kindly be advised that UNJLC has been informed that the Iraqi Customs Officials in Trebil will start levying Administrative Fees at the Trebil Border Crossing Effective July 5th at 0700.

Please note that: HUMANITARIAN AND DIPLOMATIC CONVOYS/ VEHICLES ARE EXEMPT FROM THE FEES.

This was done with the agreement between Al Anbar Governor, Mr. Abed Al-Karim Barjas, and the Coalition forces (3ACR). There are signs posted at Trebil with the new administrative fees which are as follows (Note: $1 = 1,200 Iraqi Dinars):

Customs:
1. Large trucks entering/leaving Iraq with cargo: 5,000 ID
2. Large trucks entering/leaving Iraq with no cargo: 500 ID
3. Private cars and SUVs entering/leaving Iraq: 500 ID
4. New cars being imported into Iraq: 2,000 ID
5. Passenger buses entering/leaving Iraq: 500 ID
6. Diplomatic and humanitarian aid organizaiton vehicles entering/leaving Iraq: NO FEE
7. Vehicles of formal delegations: NO FEE
8. Trucks loaded with imported cars: 2,000 ID/ car
   
Additional Fees:  
The following fees must also be paid to the appropriate office:
 

Transportation Office:
 
Manifests for trucks with cargo entering/ leaving Iraq: 500 ID
Customs Yard Office:  
1. Trucks suspected of smuggling contraband will be downloaded for Inspection: 3,000 ID
2. Large trucks entering/leaving Iraq regardless of cargo load: 500 ID
3. Private cars and SUVs entering/ leaving Iraq: 250 ID
4. Passenger buses entering/ leaving Iraq: 500 ID
   
Attention:  
No tips or any other fees are permitted.
If there is a violation of this policy, report this incident to the nearest Coalition Force Soldier.
