Iraq Phase 2 Customs
As a part of its mandate to support the work of humanitarian agencies and actors, including the provision of humanitarian aid, the UNJLC has been acting as a focal point for information around customs and immigration for the Iraq crisis.
In addtion to collecting information on procedures and tariffs in the the Iraq crisis region the UNJLC has also assisted agencies and resident coordinators in the clarification of humanitarian customs arrangements, and worked closely with the border authorities in countries neighbouring Iraq to facilitate the flow of aid.
