JORDAN LAND ENTRY POINTS
General
The Al-Karamah/ Trebil Entry Point (EP) is the only official EP and is an official UNSCR 986 EP. The border is currently open for both humanitarian and commercial traffic. Humanitarian lanes are established for both East and West bound traffic specifically to support the UN agencies, Implementing Partners, and Humanitarian NGOs.
The Government of Jordan has granted broad tax exemptions on all humanitarian convoys belonging to the UN and its implementing partners and improved customs procedures including the deployment of additional 38 customs officers to Al-Karamah border to ensure the expedited processing of humanitarian traffic.
