The continuing role of UNJLC in Iraq is to provide strategic support for the expected flow of goods into Iraq. To this endeavour, UNJLC is monitoring and disseminating information pertaining to collect
- Contact details and trucking capacity of trucking companies in Iraq
- Contact details of clearing and forwarding agents in Iraq’s neighbouring countries.
The information on Iraqi transport companies was collected in collaboration with the Iraqi Transport Union. The Union, which is recognized by Iraq’s Governing Council and the Ministry of Justice, represents all companies with the special status of General Transport Companies in Iraq and is a member of the Arab Federation of General Transport.
